Meet Angel, a timid five-year-old double amputee. Rescued from the south of the island earlier this year, Angel endured the unimaginable—losing her front-left and back-left feet to cruel poachers' snares. Incredibly shy and always keeping to herself, Angel has been under ACT care since May and has fully recovered, with her stumps healed and no ongoing medical needs. Angel needs to secure NT$150,000 (£3,800 / US$4,650) to guarantee her lifelong sanctuary at The deN, Taiwan's most idyllic haven for dogs. Operated by our previous partner, ACT for Animals, The deN offers the peace and security Angel deserves. That's a mere NT$3,450 (£88 / US$107) per month for the next 3½ years—and hopefully many more years to come at no extra charge!
