Tough but gentle Gino, a seven-year-old former stray, has overcome an incredibly painful past and is now ready to continue towards a new, brighter chapter. The victim of a brutal hunting device, Gino lost his front right leg and nearly died from sepsis, but he survived with his spirit unbroken and an enduring love of life. Gino needs to raise NT$150,000 (£3,800 / US$4,650) to donate to secure his place at The deN, the most beautiful dog sanctuary in Taiwan. The deN is run by our former partner charity, ACT for Animals, and we want to provide enough money to take care of Gino for the rest of his life. That's just NT$3,450 (£88 / US$107) per month for the next 3½ years—but if we can raise this, Gino can stay at The deN forever!
