Every 48 hours in Taiwan, ACT rescues a suffering cat or dog—many horribly maimed by illegal traps, disabled after being hit by cars, or battling a painful disease. Your donation today will heal their injuries and give them the safe, loving home they desperately need.
We received a desperate request to help a stray dog in the island's central mountain area. A wire snare had almost cut off his foreleg. When we arrived at dawn, Frosty was outside a school, licking what was left of his front-right leg. Thankfully, Frosty's rescue was quick and easy. We rushed the bewildered dog to one of our vets in Taipei to undergo emergency surgery and treatment before starting a new life in the safety and love of our beautiful dog sanctuary, The ARK. Frosty is now one of 85 canine trap or snare amputees currently in our care.
Yes! Suffering strays like Frosty must get the urgent treatment they need, and I want to donate to help make this happen.
Did you know? When you choose to ‘Make this donation every month‘ instead of a one-time gift, you help save suffering Taiwan strays month after month. It also means we can dedicate fewer resources to raising funds and give more to the animals who need us.
